I believe every child deserves a safe place to feel seen, heard, and understood. Through the language of play, children can express thoughts and emotions that are often difficult to put into words. My goal is to provide a nurturing, supportive environment where children and families can heal, grow, and thrive together.I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina with a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As a Certified Play Therapist, I specialize in helping children navigate emotional, behavioral, developmental, and life challenges using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches.My areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, family transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem, and social skills. I partner closely with parents and caregivers, believing they are essential members of the healing process. Together, we work to strengthen family relationships while helping children build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills.My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I strive to create an environment where every child feels accepted, empowered, and valued for who they are.In addition to working with children, I enjoy supporting families by providing practical tools, education, and encouragement that foster growth both inside and outside the therapy room.
