A Note From Danielle Roberts

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and my master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Throughout my career in North Carolina’s public school system, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and families both as an elementary educator and as a Professional School Counselor. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the academic, emotional, and developmental challenges individuals and families often face, as well as the importance of providing compassionate, individualized support.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds who are navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, peer and relationship challenges, family conflict, trauma, and suicidal ideation. Because I believe that every client is unique, I take an eclectic, personalized approach to therapy by integrating person-centered therapy, mindfulness practices, solution-focused strategies, and cognitive behavioral therapy to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where every client feels safe, heard, and valued. I believe in meeting each client where they are and tailoring therapy to their unique strengths, needs, and goals. For children and teens, I strive to create a space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves while partnering with their caregivers throughout the counseling process to help them develop healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and build confidence. For adults, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where they can process life’s challenges, gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, and build the confidence and resilience needed to create meaningful, lasting change.

If you are seeking a compassionate counselor for yourself or your child, I would be honored to support you. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward growth, healing, and overall well-being.
