A Note From Andrea Abbott
Andrea Abbott is the Founder and Clinical Director of Healing Hearts Therapeutic Services. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), she is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and evidence-based care.
Andrea specializes in play therapy, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and family relationships. She believes healing happens through strong therapeutic relationships and strives to create a safe, welcoming space where every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
In addition to providing therapy, Andrea is dedicated to mentoring future clinicians through clinical supervision and professional development. She also has a passion for nature-based mental health and is committed to expanding opportunities for healing through community outreach and therapeutic outdoor experiences.
Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and animals, and finding meaningful ways to strengthen the community she serves.
